Bow Frame Workshops

We have been looking for a ways to build our bigger boats at the school locations to allow the students to work on the boats throughout the year. We are working on plans to build our first temporary facility this winter in Northumberland.

Downtown Boat Shop, Reedville

The Wooden Boat School is working on a permanent facility in the Reedville area. This would provide the group a functional space with water access in downtown Reedville .

Charter Year of the NNK-WBS Cardboard Regatta

To unite the community and raise money for NNK-WBS programs, we are currently devising and orchestrating the charter year of our hosted cardboard regatta.

Tow Tank Build

In 2024 a small team of volunteers, spearheaded by David Clark, designed and built a "tow tank". What is a tow tank? Our is a trailered assembly of two long water containers with a dual pulley system used to test the seaworthiness and performance of model boats.
